On Sunday, July 30th, the breathtaking gardens at the Waba Cottage Museum will be home to the long-running celebration of healthy living, the Midsummer Herbfest.
Artisans and vendors from Ottawa, the Ottawa Valley and the far reaches of Ontario and Québec showcase their wares in the outdoor market, which boasted herbal products, eco-services and a wide-variety of healthy living goods and foodstuffs.
The Township of McNab/Braeside is dedicated to continuing and further developing Herbfest and welcomes vendors and attendees to explore all the Waba Cottage Museum in White Lake has to offer.
Herbfest will take place on Sunday, July 30, 2017 from 9:00am to 5:00pm at the Waba Museum – 24 Museum Road in White Lake, Ontario.
For more information about Herbfest, please visit http://www.midsummerherbfest.ca/ or contact Geoff Patterson at firstname.lastname@example.org or connect with the museum on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/WabaCottageMuseumGardens/

Several artists will be having a vernissage at the Herb Garden on Sunday, September 24, 2017 from 2-4pm.
The Almonte Potters Guild will be there – always a fun and creative group to hang out with – as well as Leah Hicks (an artist based in Lanark County and featured at the Humm once), and some artists from the West Carleton Art Society.
In addition, there will be watercolour paintings by Arlene McGee, an artist also based in Lanark County. She had so generously donated dozens of paintings to Lanark County Interval House and 100% of the sale price of her paintings will go to LCIH. We are pricing her paintings at a fraction of the original price. So, you can acquire great art at reasonable price while supporting essential services to women and girls!
Bel Angeles will have a mini-series in acrylics portraying issues of migration and refugees, something she is passionate about and to which she has dedicated a significant portion of her life.
Please come for a pleasant drive, the artists would love to share your company!
